I like to play with color. By making some images more vivid, I hope to emphasize life itself, along with the values of planet stewardship. We need to take better care of the earth and show more empathy for the people and creatures on it. We're all struggling. Let's try to help each other. The smallest things like a smile, a nod, a kind word, can make someone's day a little better. To make YOUR day a little better, stop to feel the breeze, the sun on your skin.  Stop to listen to the birds, to watch a lizard climbing on the wall. These are the simple things that mean the most to me.  I hope my photographs will evoke a caring attitude when viewed and perhaps caring attitudes can lead to caring actions. Simple things you can do? Recycle, use gray water, collect rain water (it's much better for plants), plant a vegetable garden, compost, create a "habitat" in your yard for butterflys and birds, donate to environmental causes, pick up litter, take your plastic bags back to the supermarket, conserve water and electricity by turning it off when you're not using it. Then, spread that attitude around!
